I’ll be the first to admit I love Steven Tyler…. as a rock star he rocks my world!!! I love his new role as a judge on Idol and I’m looking forward to Season 11. The two night season premiere of American Idol airs Jan. 18 & 19 on Fox. I had no idea Steven looked this…..um yucky underneath those fantastic clothes he wears! I suppose his bride to be Erin Brady adores him in a speedo so at the end of the day that’s all that matters!! Let’s rock out with one of the greatest rock songs ever!

As you know I’m a big music fan and sucker for reality TV. I love Idol, the Voice grew on me, and I really enjoyed X Factor, which by the way will be back for a second season in 2012. I love the inspiration that you find in these contestants chasing their dreams. That’s what life is about, and shows like X Factor make the impossible possible! I think America got it right with Melanie Amaro. She has a beautiful GOd given voice, and seems like a fun girl who can wow us for years to come. I LOVED this duet that Melanie did with R.Kelly. On Friday night Britney Spears tweeted from Las Vegas: “Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life. Such an amazing time with my new fiance and our closet friends and family.”

Our beloved pop princess is finally going to marry the right prince! Britney’s long time boyfriend Jason Trawick surprised Britt with a princess inspired ring on his 40th birthday. Celebrity jeweler Neil Lane was the lucky guy who was choosen to design this dazzling engagement ring. Jason expressed to Lane that Britney is his everyday princess. Lane said that “Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same, she is his princess!”

With that theme in mind, Lane tells PEOPLE he designed from scratch a tiara-motif sparkler with a round, perfect white diamond in a handmade platinum setting that “looks like a mini crown,” the celebrated jeweler says. He also added 90 small round diamonds around the eternity band. “Jason didn’t want an over-the-top ring with a giant stone,” he adds.

When Jason arrived to pick up the ring he was so excited with what jeweler Neil Lane designed.

“Oh my god, he loved it,” Lane shares, adding that he could tell Trawick had pre-proposal jitters. “The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves.”

That said, Lane believes this couple is in it for the long haul. “He’s deeply in love with her. Britney is his princess and he is her knight in shining armor,” he says. “Jason’s protective of her. He adores her. Every good fairytale needs a princess, and now Britney has a ring fit for a princess!”

Mariah Carey is known for her voice, and her curves! She lost 70lbs after having her twins and like before loves wearing skin tight outfits to show off her amazing body! Mimi was in London over the weekend wear she attended the Noble Gift Gala in a body hugging red dress that looks fabulous on her. She was honored with the 2011 Noble Gift Humanitatian Award.

When your the daughter of Michael Jackson with a name like Paris, it’s a given that she would step into the world of performing. Paris Jackson wants to be an actress, and seems to have found the right project and people to work with. Paris Jackson is finally following her father’s footsteps into show business.

Paris who’s 13 now, will star in the upcoming Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, a mixed live-action and animation movie, as a girl who survives being brainwashed by a jellyfish queen in the ocean.

Producer Stephen Sobisky tells PEOPLE that “Three Keys” is first in a series of five Lundon O’Malley movies that Paris has committed to. Filming begins in January.

“She wants to be an actress,” says Sobisky. “She wants to take on her dad’s legacy and do something good for the world and our product does that.”

He says that half the profits from the movie and book versions of the story, featuring Paris on the cover, will be donated to schools.

When couples break up they are entitled to have some fun, and we all know Jennifer Lopez hasn’t been wasting any time!! It beats the opposite right, sitting around crying over love. Marc Anthony has been rumored to be with a few hotties himself including this 28 year old model Adriana Ontiveros. The sexy Guadalajaran model presumably met Anthony through mutual friend and singer Alejandro Fernandez, with whom she collaborated on the music video for Fernandez’s song ‘Se Me Va La Voz’ (I Lose My Voice).

Recent reports say Marc and Jennifer hooked up this past weekend in Puerto Rico, only for professional reasons though. They were scouting for talent for their new reality show, ‘Q’Viva! The Chosen.’ The former couple were good friends before they got romantic and perhaps they can continue on that way.

Let’s reflect back on this HOT performance the once happy couple gave us on American Idol.

Music is art, art is music, and then there’s Lady Gaga……..

You might recall the headlines back in the day when Usher starting dating celebrity stylist Tameka Foster, Usher’s Mom did not approve of the relationship. Looks like Mama knows best! Usher filed for divorce from Tameka in 2009, they were married for almost two years and have two young sons together. Nowadays Tameka is shouting to the world that Usher is an unfit father and is threatening to take away his kids!! Tameka is also demanding for Usher to take a drug test because she thinks he’s popping pills and doing other things he shouldn’t around their boys. She also claims he has blown off legal obligations as a co-parent and has cancelled her Saks Fifth Avenue credit card, something I guess he wasn’t suppose to do. Poor girl can’t get her shopping on anymore. I honestly don’t know what to make of this. I’m a huge fan of Usher and I don’t want to believe his character would be like this as a parent. He’s a superstar who travels the world and I’m sure he’s busy with that, but I don’t see him not doing what a man should be doing when it comes to his kids. He has a strong family foundation with his Mom, and has always had a good team of people around him. I don’t see them letting Usher slip up like this. Tameka has 3 other kids from a previous relationship and many claim she’s a gold digger. I suppose time will tell how this drama unfolds. I hope for Usher’s sake and his kids that this isn’t true.
